I love this so much as I, like you, own a much loved grandfather’s clock. You’re so right that as our lives progress, the clock is becoming more of an old friend reminding us that it has a story to tell. Mine is in need of a service as it has bouts of tolling for about 20+ and then the correct time to follow. However, the last quote I received was £600 so it’ll have to continue on its erratic, merry way! ❤️
